I have just started to use Native Instruments Kore Player as a substitute for my crappy keyboard sounds, and I like it. Alot. Now I want to continue adding to my Midi capabilities, such as more synths (VST) and the ability to run samples. My questions are: How? What do I need? Are there free alternatives to that? Am I nuts?

I have a bunch of VST plugins and I want to be able to switch between them without having to boot up programs on the fly. Please help.

while that does look really cool and useful, I don't have $2,500. Even if i did, it would be going to go to MI.

I was hoping for more of a software based setup.

The muse is a bit high in price. Cheesy

I'm not sure about how you would change VSTi's on the fly other than what Native Instruments have implemented. There is this to.

Outside of that...Hmm

You could try loading a midi channel for each vsti instrument & changing chan & vsti with the arrow/mouse. Sound lag may be a factor.

I have been thinking about Kore 2, as I really have enjoyed Kore Player. My question for that is can I load other VSTs into it?
